So for those of you who don't know and care to follow along, around our house we like to eat. Now don't get me wrong, by no means are we food snobs. Just as often as not the morsels that hit our semi mis matched plates prepared by others and quickly returned to our humble abode for quick and often ungrateful consumption. But on those seemingly increasing occasions that the mood strikes, we play with our food.
Now all you paranoid mothers calm yourselves, for we are not forming mashed potato volcanoes to spew forth your re heated frozen peas onto the floor to feed the hungrilly awaiting dog....
No, around here we play for keeps. Going out on shopping excursions, mixing and matching framiliar flavors with alien substances. Pushing the envolope of accepted food play.
So to follow will be our successes (with recipes) and our failures (with pictures where appropriate) and those little bit of wisdom garnered from sharing good time and good food with those we love.
